More of The Story

Surrounded by many species of trees and plants, including native grasses such as “Buffalo Grass”.

Also located within the Central North American migrating bird “Fly Way”. Native small and large birds, several species of hawks, eagles, occasional coastal sea gulls, and cranes - including Whooping Cranes - travel our skies season to season. Observe Canadian geese, several species of ducks, hummingbirds and butterflies, including Monarchs, as they migrate.

Underlain by crystalline rock at a depth of about 800 feet, sitting on the west side of the Hockley Salt Dome, a huge pillar of crystalline sea salt and gypsum.

Birds, butterflies, soils, a natural prairie bog that's full of ducks, fish and frogs, and even freshwater clams.

Located at the unique confluence (edge) of several distinct biological regions of Texas. Flat coastal plains, Rolling hills, the riverine habitat of the Brazos River Valley, The higher Katy Prairie and Holocene marshlands, Western Great Southern Pine Forests, and the mesquite dry lands of South Texas.

Five (5) houses, beautiful walking trails, and many animals to pet and feed in addition to all the classes, events, immersions and retreats we offer.
We especially enjoy continuing my family's legacy keeping honey bees–who represent life nurturing life. Enjoy your visit. Feed our animals. Help harvest our nut and fruit orchards, herb and vegetable gardens. Gather eggs from our hens laying nests. Join us in saying “yes” to cherishing all life’s natural wonders, even as we embrace our role as its sovereign stewards. Experience the amazing diversity that allows life to thrive in an ecologically balanced, natural and organic setting. Finally, enjoy the solace our farm offers as a sanctuary, a Sacred Place for retreat and renewal. We love sharing sacred with you.
We have poured a lot of love into our space. We are excited to share with you our love for our retreat center and for consciousness!
